Algarve Movers & Shakers meet every weekend to go for a fun & sociable cycle ride. Movers ride on Saturday and Shakers on Sundays. Times of rides vary, so please contact Paul for details of each weekend rides.
Saturdays – Movers rides are a faster pace and cover more rugged terrain or around 35 km in the hills or up to 50km on flatter coastal areas.
Sundays – Shakers rides are a gentler pace and cover easier and flatter terrain, with distances typically around 25km or more.
Rides are only €5 per person per week, with no joining fee, simply pay as you go. You don't even need to have your own bike to go along, as they can organise bike hire for you.
1. Participants must be in good health and able to cycle competently on a variety of surfaces and conditions
2. If in doubt about your health , please consult your doctor before participating
3. Riders should always wear a safety helmet for their own protection.

The Dinamika Association will be organising 21 free fitness classes per week.
The beachside entertainment will be focused on 4 fitness stages:
- Bamge Manutenção Stage - located in the Praça do Mar;
- Dinamika Stage - located outside the Hotel Dom José;
- Remax Stage - located outside the “O Lendário” Restaurant;
- Sr. Frango Stage - located at the beginning of the avenue.
Lessons will last 35 minutes and the idea is to help holidaymakers enjoy a more active stay in Quarteira by encouraging them to take part in organised exercise
sessions.
The 10 instructors will be teaching a large selection of activities including salsa dancing, aerobics, localised exercises, beach combat, yoga, and others.
